Three bedroom cottage with free internet-connection (WiFi) in central France

This beautiful and refurbished gite near the village of St.-Hilaire in the Bocage Bourbonnais area is situated in rural and quiet surroundings, in the midst of undulating hills. The absence of other tenants guarantees plenty of privacy. As the house is well-insulated and has all modern conveniences, e.g. (electric) heating, it is suitable for a stay in both summer and winter.

This stylish holiday home has 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 persons in all. The large secluded garden provides many nooks, and, unique for a detached holiday home in the French countryside, it has internet access (WiFi) enabling you to use your own laptop unlimitedly. Entrance to the house is via the hall in the centre of the house. From the hall you find the kitchen and dining room on the right and on the other side you enter the spacious living-room with fireplace, TV, radio and CD player.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dish-washer, fridge, freezer, electric oven and microwave. From the kitchen you can walk tot the terrace provided with a large table and 6 chairs. Moreover there are deck-chairs, a BBQ and fire basket. On the ground floor you find the bathroom with, bath, shower, toilet, washing machine and dryer. From the hall you reach the first floor with two spacious bedrooms, one of which has 3 single boxsprings and the other room has one double bed. Moreover there is a smaller bedroom holding a single bed. There is a children’s bed available.

The immediate surroundings offer opportunities for walking, cycling and horse-riding. At a distance of about 15 miles you will find the Foret de Tronçais, the largest oak tree wood of Europe, with beautiful ponds. An opportunity to swim is to be found in a lake in Vieure at a distance of 8 miles. The village of St.- Hilaire has a small supermarket selling bread. At a 5 miles’ distance is Bourbon l’Archambault with a big supermarket, shops, tourist office and restaurants. Larger towns with shops, restaurants and sight-seeing are Moulins, Montlucon, Vichy and Clermont-Ferrand. In this latter town there is an airport.
